1.History of the company establishment

    The company AUTOAWACS BOHEMIA s.r.o. was established in June 1999 based on the decision to give independence  to the activity consisting in the search for  motor vehicles originally operated  in he company OM-KOMPEX spol. s r.o.. The latter company operates in a group with companies ASTOR-VIDOCQ-KOMPLEX s.r.o. and VIDOCQ s.r.o. All the above mentioned companies are interconnected by a capital property to each other and from the point of view  of property protection  they are the strongest companies in the Eastern Bohemia region. Based on these economically strong subjects also the present company AUTOAWACS  BOHEMIA is  built up, which thanks to the outlined stabile background was able to invest remarkably into the searching system and to  achieve thus in a short time a prominent position in the Czech republic in the sphere of search for motor vehicles by means of satellite navigation GPS.

2.Company background – working environment

    Today, the company background is built  up on two principal workplaces, i.e. in Pardubice, wherefrom the company economy, connection to manufacturers, monitoring services and partly even the trade are controlled and in Brno, where the control of the trade network in the Czech Republic, control of installation centres, training of mechanicians and securing of special installations as well as the supervision on the AUTOAWACS system application are concentrated. Both operating premises are situated in independent buildings, making possible to solve perfectly the given problems at issue. For the placement of  a long-distance control centre was selected the tandem exchange in Pardubice, where thanks to a  previous good trade relations with Messrs. SPT Telecom  or Ceský Telecom respectively the built up workplace was able to realise practically whichever kind of communication. Also the fact is worth mentioning that the company AUTOAWACS BOHEMIA invested significant financial means into the workplace and  it  equipped also a  fine measurement GPS station so that by a monitored object it is able to achieve an accuracy even 5 metres.

3.Trade network and co-operating partners

    The present condition of the trade network was built up intentionally and it includes approx. 130 contact points at present, where a competent information as well as a basic service relating to the AWACS system can be provided. In every region operates a regional representative, who is able to collect requirements of sale and installation centres, being continuously supplied  and the significant of them have the system on stock. The service to clients is run on the principle of whole unit substitution.
    The  centres provide the service to nearly all vehicle makes, since in co-operation with the central headquarters all such documents are at disposal, which make such interventions possible. 
    The most important partners for our company are Messrs. PORSCHE INTER AUTO CZ Prague in all its branch premises, AUTO BAYER Slavkov u Brna, IMPROMAT CAR  Zlín, CEBIA  Praha, AUTOSTAR VELIMEX Ceská Lípa, AUTO I.S.R. and other not less important.

4.Services to our clients

    The services provided by our company form an independent activity segment permanently supervised by the services manager and the manufactured products are mostly drawn up based on requirements of our customers in co-operation with the system development. The provided services include at present several basic products starting with  security and ending for example by the watch over a routes for goods delivery. All services are combined  each to anther, so that we are able to satisfy even a very demanding  customer, which is in possession of  several tenths of lorries and to provide him  a perfect  view of  vehicle operation economy, the use of its full advantage, adherence to travelling orders and others like that. Since 1^st March 2000 we offer an individual monitoring device for customers with a greater number of vehicles  for the utilisation of the so called logistic services, working in the regime of the  central  security logistic workplace.

5.Co-operation with security agencies and Czech police

    A good co-operation in this field brings naturally the expected result for every customer of the system. That is why the activity in this sphere is divided to two individual  co-operation  sections, which have to  complete each another, i.e. the Civil Security Services (CSS) and Police of the Czech Republic (PCR).
    The CSS as the contractual partner working with our company based on a contract is our partner for the securing of property, i.e. the watched over  vehicle of our client, while the PCR secures even the offenders of  delicts and only the police has the right to stop vehicles.
    The CSS as contractual partners  on the territory of the Czech Republic therefore secure the watch over a given stolen vehicle for our dispatcher in such a way that he monitors it or leads one of its employees  to the place where the vehicle is discovered and secures it or puts it in a custody, provided the customer cannot take it over at the moment.
    The CSS informs the police on the event as a citizen and the PCR follows then its internal regulations. The experience has shown, that in case of a theft of some of our watched over vehicles the police used to react in a positive way.
    As the co-operation with the PCR concerns it should be stated, that it is very successful in the field of criminality prevention, where the PCR invites our company to its presentation events and it gives as  the opportunity to present the system – which means it recognises it as an important support if its work. particular references can be obtained in the Police Presidium – Section Criminality Prevention or in police departments e.g. in Ceské Budejovice or Hradec Králové by competent media spokesmen.

6.Connections to manufacturers

    The places of business of companies AUTOAWACS BOHEMIA  and RANDOM s.r.o. in one town, a long time co-operation in another activity fields as well as  even personal contacts with the company owners  bring good presumptions to a successful co-operation on the rapidly developing system. Here a link to development specialists of the company is formed, which work still on the system both in the sphere of its hardware and software. In this way the won operating experience is continuously transferred to the production, where it can be discussed and worked into the system to improve it.

7.Most important partners

    The most important partners in the sphere of a long-term co-operation became some prominent Czech companies like LEASE PLAN  CR, CP LEASING and CORFINA a.s. Together with these organisations various programs are prepared aimed at certain clients and making the acquisition  of the system advantageous. For example with respect to a secured purchase the AUTOAWACS BOHEMIA cheapens the system, the leasing company reduces the leasing coefficient since the insurance company provides a premium reduction due to a reduction of vehicle theft risk. The result is a well secured vehicle wit a low theft risk and reduced purchase price and system running cost expenses.

8.Company development

    The objective of every company is its development. Even our company is not satisfied with its present successful standing  and therefore it  works on the project AUTOAWACS EUROPE, which will secure quality services to customers in  Europe. Filial companies are established in another states, which will work within a network of  long-distance control centres. At present already the Messrs. AUTOAWACS SLOVAKIA is operating, where already clients started to affiliate and a long-distance control centre is built up. The contract  with AUTOAWACS  POLSKA is before subscription, which will start operation not later then in September  this year.
